Sangeh - Monkey Forest, Bali

Sangeh (Monkey Forest) is a tourist spot on the island of Bali located in Sangeh Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, Bali.

Sangeh is famous because this is a village where monkeys roam freely and are rescued by locals in a forest.

In the middle of the forest there is also a temple called Pura Bukit Sari. This temple was built by the Kingdom of Mengwi but is now handed over to local residents. The monkey here has a king and is said to have three kingdoms.
